Romantic Insanity
An involuntary obsession, innocent at first
A foreshadowing of something extraordinary
Or maybe even treacherous
Once you're caught, escaping is futile
So be wary and heed this warning
A kind of thing that is like gunfire
A force so concentrated and hard to evade
A careless heart will be a victim
A love so painful spreading like wildfire
Causing a lot of damage in its wake
There is a beauty to it, although morbid
Though some might not agree, that's what I think
Just think of a harsh winter, followed by a bountiful spring
What was once cold and unforgiving, then becoming beautiful and vibrant
Much like a flower so delicate and lovely, sprouting from the earth full of filth and grime
